Bicol Express Recipe. Learn how to make Bicol Express with this Filipino recipe. Bicol Express is a spicy stew consisting of pork, coconut milk, and long chili peppers. Named after the train that travels from Manila to the Bicol region, this dish is sure to bring express satisfaction to your Filipino food cravings.

Bicol Express Recipe Video:

Bicol Express Recipe Ingredients:
* 1/4 kilo (250 g) Pork liempo, sliced 1/2 x 1/2 strips
* 4 cups (200 g) Long green chili pepper, seeded and julliened
* 1 cup (100 g) Alamang,fresh
* 1 ½ cups (375 ml) Water
* 1 ½ cup (375 ml) Coconut Cream
* 1 pouch Mama Sitas Pang-Gisa Mix

Bicol Express Cooking Instructions:
*Soak Long green chili peppers in salted water for 30 minutes, rinse, then strain well.
*In a pan, combine water, pork, and alamang.
*Bring to a boil and then lower the fire and let simmer.
*Add long green chili peppers and Mama Sita’s Pang-Gisa Mix. Cook until dish gets a little dry.
*Pour in coconut milk and cook until sauce thickens. Serve hot.
