The Philippine Independence Day in Vancouver is the biggest gathering of Filipinos in lower mainland Vancouver. Join us as we celebrate the 112th Philippine Independence Day on Sunday, June 13, 2010 from 9:00am – 6:00pm at the Waterfront Park, North Vancouver, British Columbia (200-Block West Esplanade, North Vancouver, BC V7M3K7)

Mabuhay ang Malayang Pilipino! The Philippine Day Festival of Arts & Culture – Ipagbigay, alam po lamang sa lahat ng mga Kababayan natin!

With an estimated attendance of over 5,000 Filipino families, friends and other cultural minorities all gathered in one park, 45 stalls/booths of general merchandise and souvenir items, an array of international cuisine and Filipino delicacies,”dancing at the park”, multicultural and bombastic shows and stage presentations,fantastic raffle prizes, giveaways and games, a safe play area,balloons and favors for children, and amazing surprises – this is expected to be the best and the biggest event of the year
for the Filipino Community in Vancouver!

Activities at the Philippine Independence Day Vancouver

After attending all Sunday spiritual services, we invite all our Kababayans to bring their families, friends, relatives and even your non-Filipino friends to the Waterfront Park, and there- have your lunch, watch the various presentations, and even get the chance to win the fantastic prizes. Don’t miss the colorful opening ceremonies and parade of colors at 10:30a.m.

Be in your comfortable attire and join us with our dancing at the park! There will also be some merchandise and souvenir booths where you can shop!

Then share with the family a sumptuous “Tanghalian at the Park!” Tikman muli ang ating mga katutubong kakanin,
paksiw na litson, dinuguan, pakbet, dinakdakan, kare-kare, sinigang, bulalo, sinugba, pinangat, bagnet, at marami pang katakam-takam sa hapag-kainan.

    Please remember that he just made changes to the Live-in caregiver program that keeps overseas caregiver away from Canada.
